Drain Services in Denver, CO
Slow, gurgling or backed-up drains need the right fix at the right depth. We clear single clogs and whole-line blockages, and tell you when the pipe is the problem.

Two kinds of drain problems, two kinds of fix
Drainage problems fall into two groups. One is a clog at a single fixture: a kitchen sink, a tub, a floor drain. The other is a blockage in a branch or the main line that affects several fixtures at once. They look similar from the outside, but the fix and the cost are different, which is why we split them into two services.
Denver's housing mix shows up here. Older neighborhoods often have original clay and cast iron lines with rough interiors and joints that catch roots. Newer subdivisions have smooth PVC that clogs mostly from grease, wipes and hair. Knowing which kind of house you have helps us predict what we will find.
Whatever we find, we explain it. A clog we can clear gets cleared, and a line that is failing gets an honest description, because the worst outcome is paying for the same cleaning every few months.
What sets a good drain job apart
The measure of drain work is whether it stays fixed. That depends on clearing the blockage, not just opening a hole through it, and on spotting the damage underneath a clog when there is some.
Jaime works on drain lines at every scale, from kitchen branch lines to full replacement of a failed sewer line, so he can say plainly when a cleaning is enough and when it is not.
Drainage Services: common questions
What is the difference between drain cleaning and clearing a clog?
Clearing a clog targets one blockage at one fixture. Drain cleaning clears more of a line, typically a branch or the main, to remove buildup that has accumulated over time.
How often should drains be cleaned?
Not on a schedule for most homes. If drains run freely, they do not need it. Lines with a history of clogs or roots may benefit from periodic attention, and we can tell you after we have seen the line.
What causes most drain clogs in homes?
Grease in kitchen lines, hair and soap in bathroom drains, and wipes or excess paper flushed down toilets. Roots and damaged pipe cause the clogs that keep coming back.
Why does only the lowest drain in my house back up?
Wastewater finds the lowest opening first, so a blocked main line shows up at the basement floor drain or the lowest tub before anywhere else.
When should I replace the line instead of cleaning it?
When the line has broken or collapsed, keeps filling with roots, or when cleanings only help for a short time. In that case, see our sewer line replacement service.
